Sneakers Make the Man!

If shoes ‘make the man’, then sneakers make the man with style and who lives an active lifestyle. Sneakers have become an essential part of our wardrobes and most of us own at least two pair of great sneakers.
The Nike Dunk is one of the most well-recognized sneakers on earth and wildly popular. The Dunk was first introduced way back in the mid 1980s and was made for college round ball teams. The Nike Dunk features a low profile and it is a very lightweight shoe that keeps your feet close to the ground. The Dunk was used to drive the sponsorship deal with college basketball teams and the “College Color’ program sprang to life in the 1990s. The shoes were made to specifically match the various uniform colors the teams wore.

Another iconic sneaker is the Air Jordan. Air Jordan shoes are loved and worn on all four corners of the globe by people in all  socio-economic positions in life.  Originally made and endorsed by the best basketball player of all times, Michael Jordan, the shoes are collected and cherished by roundballers and non-athletes alike. When there are new models of Air Jordans for sale, you can be sure they will disappear quickly from the shelves of the shoe stores who carry them.

Sneakers are being worn today as dress shoes were being worn ten years ago. Go to any hot nightclub and you’ll see designer sneakers more often than a casual loafer or slip-on. Sneakers are comfortable, stylish and come is such a wide variety of styles and colors today, most sneaker aficionados own dozens of pairs.
