If you were to walk across any college campus in America and take a look at what the young people are wearing, you’ll see all kinds of colorful, bold and fun clothes. Take a closer look and there is little doubt that many of the college co-eds are wearing Abercrombie hoodies as they hustle across the grounds.
Abercrombie and Fitch is an American fashion retail giant that focuses on casual wear for consumers between the ages of 18 and 24. There are over 300 A&F stores across the United States and this brand is expanding internationally very quickly.
The youthful and racy image of Abercrombie clothing is wildly popular among the free-spirited youth of today. Some say this clothing line is too ‘preppy’ and mainstream but tell that to the millions of young people who wear it and they will tell you a far different story.
Abercrombie and Fitch clothes are fresh, sporty and made to be very durable and long-lasting.
The company has a long history starting way back in 1892 by David Abercrombie who at the time made sporting goods. Today the clothing line is described as ‘casual luxury’ and it can be seen being worn by sports greats, young politicians and middle aged business men alike.
The company uses brand ‘models’ in their stores. These folks wear A&F clothing on the store floor and store loyals love seeing the clothes being worn by the staff because they can see what the clothes look like when being worn as opposed to laying folded on the shelves.
